Conditionally show content to specific Lemon Squeezy plans

How to conditionally display content on your Framer website depending on which plan someone has purchased through Lemon Squeezy

In this tutorial, I'll demonstrate how to dynamically display selected content to users on your Framer website who have purchased select product variants through Lemon Squeezy. This will allow you to display certain content only to users who have purchased the variant you specify.

Video tutorial

  1. Retrieve your Lemon Squeezy product ID

  1. Go to Products in your Lemon Squeezy dashboard

  2. Select the product that is connected to your FramerAuth account

  3. Click on the next to the variant you wish to use

  4. Click "Copy ID"

  1. Add product details to override file

  1. Rename the override to help identify which plan it correlates to

  2. Paste variant ID from step 1 where it says Your LemonSqueezy Product Variant ID for this override goes here (example)

  3. If you have multiple product variants, repeat this process:

  • Copy and paste the entire override section.

  • Update it with the appropriate product variant ID for each plan.

  1. Apply overrides to desired content in Framer

Once you've created the overrides for each of your product variants, apply them to the specific frames or content on your Framer website. This ensures that only users who have purchased the respective product variant will see the designated content.

How can I conditionally display a locked state to members who don't have a license for a specific variant ID?

You’ve just learned how to conditionally show or hide a specific frame for members with a license to a particular variant ID. To display a 'locked' state for visitors without a license for that product variant, follow the steps in the video tutorial above.
