How to add a questionnaire after any of the FramerAuth forms in Framer

How to add questionnaires after your FramerAuth forms to gather information like 'How did you hear about us?'

Adding a questionnaire after FramerAuth forms like the sign up form can help you gather additional information about your members. For example, 'how did you hear about us?' or 'what is your role?'. This info can later be used for marketing or analytical purposes.

  1. Turn your sign up form into a component

  1. Create a second variant

Add a second variant which you can rename 'success'.

  1. Connect FramerAuth form handle to second variant

Drag the interaction connector from the FramerAuth form to your second variant and select the interaction 'Success'.

  1. Add form component to the new variant and customize

Paste this link on your Framer canvas to use the customizable form component:

https://framer.com/m/BaseForm-lIfR

*this is not a FramerAuth form and will need to be configured separately.

You now have complete control over the design, questions, and layout of this new variant. Framer will automatically switch to this variant after successful submission of the FramerAuth form.

  1. Connect your new form to a provider

For the form to work properly, you'll need to connect with an external provider to receive the submissions. A lightweight and easy solution is Formspark.

If you're using Formspark, you'll need to create a form in your account and then paste the URL from the how-to tab into the form component to collect submissions. Make sure the method is set to POST and content type is json.

Thanks for following along!

After completing these steps, you'll be able to gain more insights about your members and further customize your onboarding flows.

Should you encounter any issues or require further customization, consult the FramerAuth guides or reach out to our support team for assistance.
